Hi! I’m so happy you’re here!

I’m a 25-year-old living in my little quaint home state, Vermont. My love for cooking and baking started when I was just 10 years old. After watching countless hours of the Food Network, I begged my dad to let me take a cake-baking class at Michael’s, and I was easily the youngest one there by 30 years lol. The love for cooking came about when my parents split and I started to help out a lot more around the house.

Fast forward to 2019, I started my health and wellness journey and in the end, lost a total of 50 pounds by making simple changes to the food I ate. I began creating all my favorite foods with a lighter, better-for-you twist. As Covid started to slow down in 2021, social media was doing the opposite and taking off. At this time I was working in the service industry and had a lot of extra time on my hands. I have always loved social media and the name Cooking with Car just came to me. So, I posted and here we are.

Near the end of 2021, I accepted a job in marketing and still was trying to post on my account. However, sometimes it got hard to manage both. Now I have recently taken a step back to pursue recipe & content creation full-time.

On my page, you will find a lot of yummy treats that tend to be gluten, dairy, and refined sugar-free and easy simple dinner/lunch ideas. But most importantly my recipes will usually be super high in protein. I don’t follow any diet or have any food restrictions ( thank the lord and I pray for the people who do) but I do try to follow a high-protein lifestyle. I like to focus on foods that keep me satisfied and full for as long as possible.

If I’m not in the kitchen you can find me going on walks, taking a spin class, enjoying a dinner party with my friends, or being out on Lake Champlain.

For recipes, lifestyle content, and just a good time make sure to follow along on my social media!
