PROTEIN FRENCH TOAST BAKE
INGREDIENTS
4 slices of bread
3 eggs
1/4 cup of egg whites
1/3 cup of almond milk ( I love the brand Malk)
1/2 cup of cottage cheese
Cinnamon (measure with your heart)
2 tbsp of maple syrup
1 tsp of vanilla
1 serving of vanilla chai protein powder (I use Truvani)
Optional: fruit, nuts, chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
Preheat your oven to 350 and grease a baking pan with cooking spray.
Slice your bread into small cubes. Add to your pan.
Blend all your ingredients and pour over the top of the bread. Make sure all your bread is coated. Add whatever toppings you want and cover with tin foil.
Bake covered for 20 minutes. Then uncover and bake for another 25-35 minutes until everything is nice and golden on top!
Serves 3-4, store in the fridge, and reheat in the oven or air fryer!!
