PROTEIN FRENCH TOAST BAKE

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices of bread 

  • 3 eggs 

  • 1/4 cup of egg whites 

  • 1/3 cup of almond milk ( I love the brand Malk) 

  • 1/2 cup of cottage cheese

  • Cinnamon (measure with your heart) 

  • 2 tbsp of maple syrup 

  • 1 tsp of vanilla 

  • 1 serving of vanilla chai protein powder (I use Truvani) 

  • Optional: fruit, nuts, chocolate chips


DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat your oven to 350 and grease a baking pan with cooking spray. 

  • Slice your bread into small cubes. Add to your pan. 

  • Blend all your ingredients and pour over the top of the bread. Make sure all your bread is coated. Add whatever toppings you want and cover with tin foil. 

  • Bake covered for 20 minutes. Then uncover and bake for another 25-35 minutes until everything is nice and golden on top! 

  • Serves 3-4, store in the fridge, and reheat in the oven or air fryer!!
