APPLE PIE BARS (HEALTHIER)
INGREDIENTS
Crust:
2 cups of almond flour
2 tbsp of coconut flour
dash of salt
1/3 cup of melted coconut oil
1/3 cup or maple syrup
1 tsp of vanilla
Filling:
3 medium-sized apples, chopped
1 tsp of cornstarch
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp coconut sugar
cinnamon (measure with your heart)
dash of salt and vanilla
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
Mix all your crust ingredients until it forms a dough. Press evenly into your pan and bake for 20 minutes until lightly golden brown.
While your crust bakes, mix all your filling ingredients until all the apples are well coated.
When your crust is done, pour your filled over and bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes until your apples have softened and started to bubble.
Optional: mix Greek yogurt and maple syrup together and drizzle over the top!
