FROZEN STRAWBERRY RHUBARB APEROL SPRITZ
INGREDIENTS
1 oz of strawberry rhubarb syrup
1 oz of Aperol
5 oz of Prosecco
Ice
orange zest & slice
Honey
DIRECTIONS
Strawberry rhubarb syrup: In a medium sauce pan add 1 cup of chopped strawberries, 1 cup of chopped rhubarb, 1/4 cup of water, and 1/4 cup of honey. Bring this mixture to a slight boil. Reduce to a simmer and the strawberries and rhubarb will start to break down and release their juices. The mixture will turn bright red. This will take about 7-10 minutes. Once done strain the mixture and let cool
In a blender add your Aperol, syrup, ice, and prosecco. Blend for only a few seconds. Pour into a cold glass and enjoy!
